Aubrey Elizabeth Bunner: Aubrey is 8 Months Old

Well here is another month passed and a quick update. We are all doing great. Aubrey is at such a fun age and we are trying to soak up everything as it is flying by way to quickly! She is talking up a storm, of course still her favorite thing to say is "Dadadadada", though I try to teach her "Mamamamama"! She is not crawling yet, but can scoot and roll around to where she wants to be. She is really content just sitting on her mat with lots of toys surrounding her, that's the life! She doesn't have any teeth yet, but of course everything goes into her mouth! She is getting to be such a big girl! She can shake her head "No, no, no" but can't say the words, yet. And at her last doctors visit she weighed 18 lbs even!

We just had our first Easter and unfortunately, Jamie and I were sick with some sort of GI bug which only hit Aubrey mildly, thank heavens! I did get some pictures of her with her Easter Basket and her pretty dress, though! I can't wait until we can dye and hunt eggs, what a fun time that will be!

Speaking of fun, we just got back from our first family vacation to Folly Beach, SC. Aubrey traveled very well! She slept most of each leg it was really only until the last hour or so that she would get bored and want out of her car seat. She actually did great around all the other children, there was lots of entertainment there to keep her occupied! She loved the beach, I think it was quite relaxing for her since we play the ocean sound in her room when she sleeps.

We are planning on heading to Jazz Fest in a couple of weeks and her Grandma and Grandpa are coming to keep her for a couple of days. She will be nice a spoiled when we return...as it should be!

We also have our first trip to Ohio planned for the first week of May. Her very first airplane ride! I only hope she travels as well on a plane as in the car! She is such a flirt and such a people watcher that she should be just fine in the airport and on the plane!
