16 Month Update

Happy Holidays to everyone! We are anxiously awaiting Santa's arrival this year! Aubrey is doing great! She has become such a little 'helper'! She loves to help Mommy sweep and is such a big help when picking up her toys at night, now if we can just keep her that way! We have had an interesting month....we found out that she is allergic to eggs and she is just getting over bout with pneumonia, but has been such a little trooper through it all!

She is trying to talk a little more, but we are still having a hard time understanding. She points and says 'ugh' for the things she wants. She loves the Christmas tree and it has been quite the job keeping her away from the balls on the tree! We are excited about what she will think on Christmas Day!

She is growing so fast, she weighed 23 lbs and was 31 inches at her last check up. She has 6 teeth and one just about to break through.

We hope that everyone has a blessed and safe holiday! Much love to you all!

Such the princess!

15 Month Update

What a fun time we are having! Aubrey had a great time for Halloween! She was so cute! We had a fun time at the pumpkin patch picking our pumpkin out. She is walking like a champ now and trying hard to talk, still not quite sure what she is saying but she sure is trying. The last we checked she was 22.5 lbs....growing like a weed! Looking forward to the holidays..... Hope all is well with everyone!

14 Month Update

Happy Fall to everyone! We are doing well. Aubrey is walking now...the Frankenstien walk, but still walking! She is into everything! We just had a visit from Jamie's parents and she got nice and spoiled while they were here. Her Papa built her a swing, which she LOVES! She is talking her jabber talk still and not quite sure what the heck she is saying! She is obsessed with people's belly buttons, though!
We are excited about Halloween. Aubrey will be a going as a 50's Poodle skirt girl! I will be sure to post pictures! We are planning on going to the pumpkin patch soon to pick out her first pumpkin! Hope you are all doing well! Will see ya next month.

13 Month Update

Just a quick update to let you know how things are going. Aubrey took her first few steps by herself! She still likes for you to walk around the house with her holding your hands but she will take 4-5 steps on her own now. She is saying "Uh-oh" and "Hey"! And talking some language I wish I knew for her sake! She has a way of pointing to things and saying "Uh" for the things she wants or "S'at" which I think might mean 'what is that' or 'that'. That's what we are going with anyway!
She is all about her Daddy right now, which is great and the sweetest thing to watch. She just LOVES to have Jamie walk with her around the house. She has started to discover her different body parts and loves to show you her tummy, oh Lord watch out! She is sleeping through the night most nights but sometimes wakes when her teeth are bothering her. Poor baby! We are having the most fun now and I am savoring EVERY moment as they are passing way to quickly! See you next month!

Sweet!

Fun at the pool!

Aubrey is One Year Old!

Well here we are one year! I just can't believe I am writing this to update you all for her first birthday! Aubrey is doing great and getting to be such a big girl. She is cutting teeth and to date we have 3 teeth with a fourth close to surfacing. She is not walking just yet, but she is cruising and scaring the heck out of Mommy and Daddy! She weighs 21 lbs and 3 ounces now!
She started in her 1 year old class at daycare this week and is such a big girl. She has her own seat at the table to sit in and she is learning her alphabet and numbers already! She brought home her very first piece of art that she painted herself at school! Can you believe that!
The last year has been so wonderful watching her grow. Jamie and I could not have asked for a more perfect little girl! She has been such an added joy and blessing for us! I just can't believe how much you can love one little person! Thank you all for sharing this first year's journey with us. Please stay tuned for more.....

11 Month Update

Sorry this is so late this month, we have been crazy busy! Well here we are just one month away from Aubrey's first birthday. So much has happened in the last month. Let's see, she is crawling like a speed racer, not walking yet but she has cruising down pretty good. She is saying Mama and Dada to the right person now. She is eating some table food, she has a problem with texture but we are working through it! Aubrey has two bottom teeth now and is gnawing and drooling on everything and anything! She is quite ticklish and is has such a sweet laugh. Her favorite game is Peek-a-boo with her Daddy she just giggles and giggles when they play. I mentioned in the last blog about possibly getting tubes and she did at the end of last month and did great with it! You would never know that she has surgery an hour later and the procedure only took 15 minutes!
We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Panama City. Aubrey's Aunt Kristie came up for visit, too. We got to take Aubrey out to the beach a couple of times. She loved the water and was pretty interested in trying to eat the sand! She got lots of great spoiling from Grandma and Grandpa and she LOVES their puppies! She just laughed and laughed when they would try to kiss her!
We put her on the scale at her Grandparent's and she weighed 21 pounds! We will be going for her 1 year check up right after her birthday next month and we will see right where she lands on the growth scale. She is such a big girl now, I just can't believe she's not my cuddly little baby anymore! The time is flying by so fast!
Who me??
Speed crawling to get her ball!

I love my pig tails!
