Aubrey Elizabeth Bunner: 6 Month Update

Aubrey is 6 Months Old!!!

Well, we just can't believe it, but 1/2 a year has gone by already! Aubrey is doing so well and growing and changing so fast now! It seems like she is doing something new everyday! It's as if a little light switch goes off in her mind when she "gets" something and it is so amazing to watch! We just got done with her 6 month check up today. She weighs 17 lbs. & 2 ozs. and she was 27 inches long! She is in the 70th percentile for weight and 86th percentile for height! She is eating baby food really well now and seems to like her veggies, thank God! She definitely knows her name and turns to you when you call her name. She is almost sitting on her own and likes to roll around alot. She isn't near crawling at all, which at this point is soooo fine with us! She started waving bye-bye the other day....if you say bye-bye she waves backwards, as if to say come here! She loves to try to give open mouth slobbery smooches on your cheeks, too! She has now learned out to blow raspberries and loves to do that in very public places, of course! Her favorite toys thus far are her Johnny Jumper, her exersaucer and her lights & sound stage, really anything that will make some noise! Aubrey's hair is growing in in the back, slowly. She still looks like she has tons of hair and curls from the front and is balding in the back! We thought it was coming in red, but it is looking more brown now...we will see!
